Our story
A machine
designed by an athlete.
YOUNIKV12 was not born in a fitness equipment manufacturer's design office. It was born on the therapy table of a former racer who needed to rebuild his movement after an injury — and found no answer in the equipment available.
Four chapters. Twenty years of development. One journey from Brazil to Brno.

before 2003

A racer forced to stop
Rodrigo Siqueira races motocross and off-road events professionally in Brazil. After a serious crash and injury, doctors recommend pilates instead of a return to racing. Joseph Pilates' method wins him over instantly — its logic, precision, and respect for the body. But the equipment available at the time doesn't suit his build or the dynamic rotational movements he needs.

Developing his own machine
After studying physiotherapy, Rodrigo starts developing his own design. He wants a single machine capable of advanced rotational movement, strength training and rehabilitation — one that gives a sense of stability even to larger-framed clients. The design follows the body's needs, not catalogue aesthetics.

Live Pilates and international expansion
Israeli entrepreneur Eli Ben Ami, a long-standing figure in European pilates, joins the project. He becomes a co-owner, helps introduce the machine in Israel, and opens Live Pilates studios across Europe and the United States.

YOUNIK — the first studio of its kind in Europe
YOUNIK brings the machine YOUNIKV12 to the Czech Republic and Slovakia for the first time, as the exclusive distributor. Together with the wireless EMS PROSuit it opens the first studio of this format in Europe, in Brno — for clients and for B2B partners who want to bring the technology in-house.

emerged.
Behind the BYELMARIE brand is Šárka Kloudová, who has long specialised in body shaping and non-invasive slimming. Hundreds of clients have passed through her hands; she has tested numerous techniques and devices and, drawing on her own research, developed a signature method combining manual and device-based treatment. Since 2024 she has offered her own devices and tools under the BYELMARIE brand and trains professionals in women's health and beauty. She runs her studio in Brno.
BYELMARIE is now expanding with a new Power Pilates concept. Under this growing vision, a sister brand is born — YOUNIK, which brings the machine to the Czech Republic and Slovakia for the first time YOUNIKV12 and opens the first studio of its kind in Europe.
